Morgan Tessman - Australian Dental Nurse
I graduated with my Cert III dental assisting in 2010 and I was working as dental receptionist as well as in dental nursing positions in Austrailia. I then went to university and completed Bachelor Oral Health and graduated in 2016. During my final year at university I had decided that I was going to relocate to Ireland on a working holiday visa due to my age being close to the cut off. I got in contact with Marguerite via email after seeing her website and she was very helpful as she also had 2 Australian girls working as dental nurses already and had received great feedback from any dentists they had visited. My goal was to work as a dental nurse until I sat the overseas hygiene exam and would then start working as a hygienist through Marguerite. Marguerite was very helpful in trying to seek when the dental council was going to hold their exam and had interest from several dentists wanting to employ me due to my qualification. Unfortunately the examination date wasn't set but Marguerite was very supportive. She knew that one of the Australian nurses and her partner were looking for a new room mate and got in contact with me. Brodi and I became close friends as well as the third Australian Philippa and we all keep in close contact with each other. Marguerite caught up with myself, Brodi and our partners on her recent trip to Australia on a very hot and humid Summers day. It was great to catch up and learn of her growing business and we were missed back in Dublin. Marguerite was a big part in my life in Ireland and it was a great comfort to know that she is always there especially knowing my fiancé and I are relocating back to Ireland, I will definitely be seeking out Irish Dental Jobs again. I am sure that Marguerite will be able to offer me dental nurse jobs if on my return!
