Job Title: Clinical Chair-Side Assistant

Location: Co Westmeath

Position Type: Permanent 

Practice Overview: Our client is a specialist orthodontic clinic established in 2002, offering expert orthodontic care with a full-time orthodontist on site. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a dedicated treatment room, decontamination and sterilisation room, X-ray room, and staff amenities.

Working Environment:

  • Separate dedicated treatment room for consultations and treatments.
  • Decontamination and sterilisation room linked to the treatment room, equipped with disinfection washer and autoclaves.
  • Dedicated X-ray room.
  • Dedicated staff room and separate staff toilet facilities.
  • Single chair setup.

Position: Clinical Chair-Side Assistant

Working Hours:

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
  • Wednesday & Friday: 8:30am - 7:00pm
  • Paid break: 10:15am - 10:35am
  • Unpaid lunch break: 2:15pm - 3:15pm

Desired Start Date: 6th June 2024

Job Description: The role involves working as a full-time clinical chair-side assistant in a specialist orthodontic clinic. The candidate will support the orthodontist in delivering high-quality care to patients.

  • Experience in assisting in orthodontic treatment is a plus.

Necessary Skills/Experience:

  • Full dental nursing qualification and experience.
  • Ability to adapt to a new clinical set-up and work under the guidance of the orthodontist.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Education Level: Dental nursing qualification.

Salary: €15 - €23ph D.O.E
