  Position: Specialist Orthodontist
  Practice: Specialist Implant and Orthodontic Clinic
  Location: Northern Ireland
  Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time Roles Considered)
  Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  Start Date: January 2, 2025
  Salary: Percentage split (45%-50%) with earnings potential of £120k-£150k per annum

With ample parking, this is a modern, purpose-built specialist referral clinic that serves a broad catchment area, providing orthodontic, implant, and oral surgery services. The six fully equipped surgeries are supported by an experienced, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering the highest standards of patient care.

They have a loyal referral base and consistently receive approximately 50 new orthodontic referrals monthly, ensuring immediate access to a large, established patient list.

Key Responsibilities

  • Treatment planning and delivering orthodontic care for both children and adults.
  • Maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring exceptional patient care.
  • Working with a team of specialists, DWSIs, and support staff.
  • Utilising advanced dental technology, including OPG/CBCT and Trios scanners.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Required:
    • Registered Specialist Orthodontist with the GDC (General Dental Council).
    • Alternatively, an experienced orthodontist confident in treatment planning and treating children/adolescents (specialist registration not mandatory).
  • Desirable Traits:
    • Excellent communication skills, particularly with both adults and children.
    • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
    • Motivated, with a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • MOrth or equivalent specialist training.
    • Evidence of further training in orthodontics (e.g., MSc).

  • Dental Software: Dentally.
  • Technology Available: OPG/CBCT and Trios intraoral scanner.
